Back to scrapping

Well I think I almost got withdrawel symptoms. I'm so used to fiddeling with scrapping all the time that the few days without got a bit tough ;)

I did however have a delightful time, a very very busy time, but a brilliant one. We are back home and of course getting back to a bit of unpacking and a bit of family time and a bit of scrapping.

I have already got some new years resolutions and a to-do list of scrapping related stuff.

1. I need to finish a LO for Chookscraps ... my very last DT LO for them.
2. I need to finish a LO for Memory Bugs
3. Then I'm on to my pregnancy journal which I started while I was pregnant ages ago.

and so my list keeps on going.

I wanted to share these three LO's with you which is based on instructions done up by Rachel Axton, it is my January Monthly pack that you can purchase from my Crafting In Style Store. I just loved following her instructions, I created all three LO's in no time at all.

I have done a few LO's here and there but can't share them just yet. I have two up at TOP50 for their comps and also one for Lorraine at Chookscraps for a DT LO.

Can you believe it???? A brand spanking new year is almost here! :)

Offline

Hiya ladies.

Well this is the last night in my little nest before I move to more greener pastures hehe.
The big move is happening tomorrow, can't wait to see how all our goods will fit in the new house!
We need to reconnect our broadband, so I'll be quiet for a while! So I might just wish you all a GORGEOUS Christmas!! And if I don't get around to being on yet .... a BRILLIANT new year also!
And I'll love and leave ya with some of my latest LO's!
This photo was taken last week at our little getaway. He looks so happy, relaxed and happy and I just loved that! So couldn't resist scrapping that photo on a fresh and happy background. Something a bit diff from me, but I like it! This one is on my brother his and his girlfriend. I got these papers to use for a DT LO for Chookscraps and just couldn't resist using this gorgeous photo.

And the last one, dd being chased by her Uncle Steven who she just adores. She tired him out so quickly lol. But they had loads of fun together. This one is based on a sketch by Lorraine for a Chookscraps CC.

This one is my dd and her Oupa when they went to the beach and she sipped up a whole box of juice. More papers from Lorraine for a DT LO.

Okay that is it from me, better get last things packed up.

The Day Before

Well this is the day before we own our own house! :P

Settlement happens tomorrow at 11ish. Then I can get the keys!!!! WOOOHOO, can't wait! This must have been the longest week ever!

Now if only some packing fairy can come pack up and move all my gear over. Because not a lot is packed up here yet.

Am busy teaching a scrapping class atm. Making a gorgeous little mini distressed booklet. I find them so boring to teach, but love chatting and seeing the end results lol.

So while they are scrapping away I surf the net, so was stoked when Memory Bugs newsletter turned up in my inbox and I could check out all the amazing DT layouts!! Just adored them to bits!

I really love the next lot of pp's too, so look forward to creating more DT LO's for them!

Here is my little LO from this months papers. I really loved this LO, but against the other girls it isn't very impressing at all lol.

This is hubby when we were about mmm 8 months pregnant (I think) we had just gone for some gorgeous professional photo shoot which we soooooo enjoyed. So grabbed some photos when we got home.

Which is why I called it 'grand memories', because it wasn't just any day! lol.

Okay I better get back to this class.

Have a fantastic weekend ladies!!

Packing up the house

Well, settlement for our new little home is this Friday. So we really need to start getting packed up, so today is it. Just a few boxes, just to get the ball rolling :) I just can't wait to be in our new little home! I haven't looked forward to many moves in my life, but I'm really really excited about this one. :)
The weekend has been a busy one, with our second little cybercrop over at Crafting In Style. Been a bit quiet over there, but i think you will get that at this time of the year. Talking about this time of the year! I haven't even done my xmas shopping yet and when we went to the mall, it was CRAZY. I just got out while I was still in one piece lol.

I have had loads of fun scrapping this weekend. Most of which I can't share just yet. BUT I can share this one, which I did for my own CC, which was the sketch challenge.

Ain't my little girl sooooo sweet lol.

And then at last got a chance to start on some of the Kim Archer goodies. Which I was watching from the side lines. So I started with the cutest little felt mini album. She honestly did a brilliant job with this class.

I decided to make one album for each christmas and hang them from my christmas tree. So I'll have a little mini-book decorated tree. How awesome is that!
So here is christmas 2005

Just some of the pages inside. They were so quick and easy to make too! Just awesome KIM, I love it to bits!

Okay well Katie is down so I better use the time for better things than blogging lol.

Have a fab week everyone!

New BG Blush Range ...

Is to DIE for!!!! I'm soooo inlove with this range. Right up my ally. So I've been creating LO's using my new goodies hehe. (If you are dying for some, I have some in store now)

This first one is my little girl, just over one year old. She got this doll from her great-grandma and great-grandpa. She just adored it right from the word go. The little doll makes a sucking noise and moves its mouth when Katie feeds her her bottle, and so now Katie is also making sucking noises when she gives the baby a bottle or her dummy. Too cute. And of course using some YUMMO blush pp's.

Another LO of me being 39 Weeks preggers, I created this LO for Charm's new challenge blog. The challenge was to include ribbon, stars and a black and white photo. Go and check out her blog for more detail, you could win something so make sure you check it out.

We are off to a two night getaway at the gold coast. So I'll catch up when I get back. Have a great week

24 Sleeps till Christmas

Wow, how exciting. I love this time of the year when everyone starts buzzing with an energetic hype of happiness.

On another note, it felt like christmas today at my house when a box filled with BG's new BLUSH range arrived. It is all pinks and browns and it is sooooooooo gorgeous! So I kind off had to give myself a christmas pressie early and am now playing with my new supplies. hehe, that is so naughty!

I have signed myself in to Kim's online Christmas Extravanganza, can't wait to see what all the lovely ladies have come up with! Oooooohhhhh can't wait!

My husband has taken a week's leave, so I'm looking at a relaxing week, can't wait!!

Anyhows, here is another LO that I used the doodeling templates with!! Loved doing this LO!

Enjoy the weekend!!!
