Second Trimester :)

Hello everybody,

Well I'm so happy this week to be in my second trimester, now I just need to wait around till 18 weeks so I can find out what sex this little bubs is and then the fun can begin :) We are happy with either sex of course, I would be thrilled to have another girl, but then of course it would be perfect to have a boy and we can have one of each :)


I am teaching two classes at Stamp and Scrapbook Madness at Coorparoo (close to brisbane) next week. This little Kaisercraft Album is happening on thursday from 10-12. Nice give to give away or if you are like me, a nice way to catch up with last years photos before this year comes around.


And this layout is happening on wednesday from 10-12. Focusing on stitching, using some great swirlie stitching templates.



Katie is sick, just a bit of a temp and runny stuffy nose, we went to the park yesterday but this was the face we got for most of it, so the playdate was cut a bit short.


And lastly a little preggie photo of a teeny tiny bump, if you squint you might just see it hehe. I'm already to start putting on some weight and even though it is a good thing, I'm finding it really hard after working for a year to get my weight down :( Hopefully next time around will be easier and quicker for loosing that baby weight.

Playing with Fancy Pants Goodies

Am totally loving the FP goodies, am having SO much fun!! Who else have got their hands on the latest new HOT HOT goodies from FP?? My absolute favourite is the glitter overlays and frames and am totally in love with their gorgeous chipboard shape boxes, so many yummy shapes in there for sure!!


I've had a busy week this week and am looking forward to the peace that the weekend will bring. Not sure what we have planned for the weekend but hopefully it won't include tooo much :)

Good news is that the doctors appointment for bubs went well and I got to hear the heart beat for the first time which the doctor was happy with as nice and strong! :) Next month when I go I will be able to get my slip for the ultrasound appointment, SO can't wait to find out the sex of this bub!

Well my friday 'cleaning day' is looming ever closer so I'm thinking an early night in bed is in order for me. I braved a Step class today at the gym and boy did it steal my energy right out of me, but it felt oh so good to get some proper exersize in.

Pancakes for lunch :)

Me and Katie indulged in some yummy homemade pancakes today for lunch. Something fun and totally out of the ordinary and Katie promptly declared that it was 'a good idea Mummy'. I think she enjoyed it hehe. So did me and my 12 week little bubby growing inside me :)

My tummy is doing funny things today, really sore and just aching. it isn't cramping though so I'm not freaking out but rather thinking it is stretching type pains?? Is that normal?? I can't remember if I had pains with Katie. Anyways I am off to the doctor tomorrow for a monthly checkup so will find out more then I guess hehe.

Nearly there, come on weekend!

Well we are almost at weekend time again. I have had a good week this week. My nausea seems to have settled down a bit and I feel a tad normal haha. I'm still very tired all the time and I've got that 'heavy' feeling, but otherwise things are going along peachy. I'll be in my second trimester on Sunday and that has got to be the start of a beautiful few months :)


In Scrappy News, Pencil lines just turned TWO and to congratulate them the OLW (one little word) joined forces with them , so there are tonnes of beautiful work on the blog for you to check out. (i kinda forgot about the word I was meant to use, but this was my first layout I scrapped after my non-scrapping during pregnancy).


And this layout I just did for fun to try and get my mind off my feeling yucky from pregnancy. Photo taken by my good friend Liz with her brand spanking new Canon camera!!


We have absolutely NOTHING planned for the weekend. I might have a class to teach sunday morning, but no one is booked in yet, so looks like a free weekend after all. But I am looking forward to it! And do hope you all have a BEAUTIFUL weekend too!!

Some things on ebay :)

Just a quick update today. I cleaned out my scrap stash and popped up 4 auctions on ebay today. Thought I would share with my scrappy friends for just in case you are interested and want to help bid up the price a bit hehe.

The stash is mostly older styles, but there are some more recent releases in between there. Nothing wrong with the papers, I just don't seem to get around to using them and thought it was time to part with some of them hehe.

Thankful for weekends!

I'm so glad that it is weekend and that there is an extra pair of hands to help out with Katie while I wallow in pregnancy self-pity hehe.


I had loads of excitement this week when a gorgeous big box filled with Fancy Pants goodness arrived, which promtly kicked my scrapping drive back into gear, so I have loved scrapping my nights away! While I can't share those layouts with you just yet, I do have another pre-pregnant one to share.


This one is on Katie enjoying a ride on a horsie.


I also wanted to let anyone interested know that I'm running a 3 layout class/workshop online at Scrapbook 'n' Bits on the 24th of October - the kit is filled to the brim with Pink Paislee goodness with a touch of Prima bling swirls, YUMMMMM!! Purchase a kit here if you want to join in on the fun!!!


And lastly, did you notice I changed the look of the blog, do you like the new one more or the old one? I can't decide hehe.

Anyone interested in some classes in Loganholme?

I am now officially part of the Craft-A-Lot team where I will be teaching classes every second thursday and most Sundays :)


I need people to come and play with me as I get paid per participant hehe.


First class will happen on Thursday the 16th at 10am. We will be using the cuttlebug and creating two gorgeous textured cards (as seen below). They are heaps of fun and you get all the products as part of your class fees, so you only need to bring your trimmer, adhesive, foam tape, and general tools.



And then on Sunday the 19th at 10am, we will be having fun with some distressing techniques to create a gorgeous soft layout (which we can alter for younger boys of course). This class is $12 and you need to either bring or buy your own supplies.

Almost weekend!

Woohoo for it being almost weekend time again! Gotta love that :)
