1 Month till Xmas day!!

WOOOHOOO, this year I'm looking forward to xmas sooooo much. I think Katie is brining out the Xmas spirit in me as I just so enjoyed doing xmas shopping and wrapping, and after my birthdya is passed this sunday, we are popping up our christmas tree, which is just the best event with squeels and delights from Katie! Can't wait!! My Xmas shopping is all done, lucky cause the shops are getting CRAZY busy ALREADY!

Katie got the most adorable shop from sister-in-law to be (they are getting married on the 6th of Dec ), the most brightest merriest hot pink polka dot dress!! So cute!! with matching shoes and hair goodies. So when we got a bored sitting around on Saturday we went out and did some fun photos in our backyard. I popped a sheet over the fence with some pegs and away I shot.


She got me to pose with her lol, there wasn't enough room for my legs as the sheet isn't all that big, so I was totally squashed and trying to avoid lying on my tummy, very uncomfy, but cute photo :)

And this is my FAV from the day, just sooooo cute! And she is actually looking at the camera!!
Can't wait to scrap this one :)


This is pretty cute too, totally fake smile, but at least she is smiling :)


I'm still trying to grow out her hair so I can pop them up in ponytails, but it seems that the more it grows the more it curls, so now it is kinda looking like an afro doh!!!


And two layouts to share with you all :) This is Katie and her best friend Sabrina enjoying a play with a dollhouse while the adult ladies were scrapping away and eating a heck of a lot of naughty food like Caramel slices, Cob and crackers and dips, hmmmmmmm really should do that again soon!! I had such an awesome day!!


And a layout for the Puzzle Sketches challenges, my first go ever, it was mega fun! Total mix and match of goodies here!! And can you believe that Heidi Swapp doesn't make or sell those tiny plastic alphas' anymore :( how very sad!

Well folks, I just got a commission from Creative Paper for a layout that is due in their office by NEXT week! So I need to go and get cracking! I'm very excited as I haven't tried to get published in Creative Paper yet, so getting asked it super duper cool!!! Have a good one!!

WOW! This week took forever to go by, so I am so glad and relieved that Monday is here.

Had a busy busy day decluttering cupboards, am sure Salvos will be glad for the gazzillion packets of clothes that I am going to pass on, feels good to open a cupboard and nothing is falling on my head hehe and of course have some room for my maternity clothes as I just can't fit into my old jeans/skirts or pants anymore :( boohooo! I am really struggling putting on weight after the incredibly hard journey of trying to get rid of my last lot of pregnancy weight. Have popped on a healthy 2.5kg so far, so am right on track with the 'recommended' weight for my body type :) I am hitting the start of month 5 on Sunday!! Boy the last month flew past!!


So here I am, last week in Month 4, a healthy 16 weeks pregnant and a belly to show for it (last time around I was only JUST starting to show :)


My XMAS present from hubby arrived today!! I got to pick my gift this year, and I chose a very noice light shoulder bag to take to classes, crop days and craft shows. I am just totally in love with this beauty, it is so roomy inside and just soooo pretty. I was lucky to pick it up for $74, they are now around $90 due to the drop of the aussie dollar!!! Isn't that a massive big jump!!

Can't wait till I can use this bag, thinking I won't last till xmas as I'm off to a friends house for a playdate/scrap/pancake visit this coming thursday :)

Mid way through the week!

I have had a busy day and am feeling the drain. My feet are aching at the end of a work day, i'm feeling heavily pregnant (even though i'm not), feeling like I need to take DEEP breaths to deep properly, even though my belly isn't suffocating my lungs just yet.

BUT I have been loving the little flutters of movement that come every now and then in my tummy.


I found the most awesome store for Funky Camera straps and lens bags. I SOOOOO need to get me a funky strip when money comes my way again, or maybe I should hint for one from xmas from a family member?? Hubby has already bought me a GORGEOUS crop shoulder bag which I just can't wait for! I picked my own present as he is just hopeless with getting me gifts, leaving me with a very fake excited look on my face while in my head i'm going 'why the heck to I want this' hehe. So I decided to shop for myself instead :)And I thought I would share a layout I did ages ago, not sure if I shared it?? If I did, oops sorry, i'll blame it on the pregnancy brain. I feel so 'blonde' when I'm pregnant. I promptly popped on brown shoes for work today and when I got halfway to work realized that I ended up deciding AGAINST the brown pants for work as it wouldn't fit around my belly and went with a black instead, so had a pink shirt, black shorts and brown shoes ARRRGGHH not a good look!

I am applying for both Prima and Pink Paislee DT spots, who else is having a go?? I'm loving that they are both so easy and straight forward to apply for, I never can be bothered when DT application requests are complicated specific and just too time consuming and hard.

Two classes coming up :)

Hiya Ladies,


I have two classes coming up soon, one is via the internet at Scrapbook 'n' Bits and we will be making a cute little paper bag album using Fancy Pants goodness. Very uni-sex and perfect for a christmas gift as a little brag book.

And then this layout I will be teaching next week at Stamp and Scrapbook Madness. Focusing on the use of glimmermist which is oh so fun!! The store is located in Coorparoo, close to Brissie, so if you can drop by, give them a call to find out date and time to book in! I had an exciting week, going back to work for two days, which was GREAT! Got to hear bubs heartbeat at the doctors yesterday, PLUS I felt three very distinct little kicks early this morning!!! Tummy is just taking a life of its own, so I am hoping to grab another photo this weekend to show off my bubby bump :)

Almost the end of the week!

I'm excited!


* It is almost weekend again!


* My house is nice and clean!


* I'm off to a scrap getogether with the gals tomorrow, lots of yummy snacks, friend for Katie and just relaxing fun fun fun!


* I'm back to normal shifts at work as of next week - thank God for that! We so need the money!

Pregnancy wise all is going well well. Nauseau is all gone, only still battling with getting tired really easy, bump is growing weekly now and I'm just starting to have to loosen the buttons on my pants.
