Woohoo for the end of the week!!

Well this has not been a fun week. I'm still sick and missing the days where I could take some simple flu medicine to help take the edge of the yucky feeling and to help make me drowsy for a good sleep. But I shouldn't complain really as I could be much worse off!!

But I'm super glad and thankful that friday is nearly here and that the weekend will mean more time to relax, seeing as we have NOTHING on our agenda woohooooo :)

Sick Sick Sick

Our house has been a bit of an unhappy one with a really sick girl with fevers, a horrible cough and yucky nose. Together with that, we have been without internet!!

And today, my throat is sore and I have a runny nose ARGH!


Anyways, it is all part of life isn't it. I have some quick shares, and then I'm hoping to have a quick nap.

A quick layout of Katie and her 'posing'. This was a just for fun layout, and it was so much fun just doing whatever I wanted with whatever papers :)


Even with our sick girl, we headed outside to our backyard and did some quick self photos for Valentines, I like trying to get family photos done on Valentines. And these came out beautifully :) I pop my camera on a tripod, set it up and give Katie the remote control, that way she is actually looking at the camera to see if it is taking the photos :)

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines day to you all!! Hope you all get lots of hugs and kisses from someone today, whether it is your hubby partner, kids or someone special and dear to you!!

Not much happening here, Katie has been sick with spiking temps, so we are all a bit tired from some very hectic nights. Leon worked till 3:30am this morning so he is sleeping the morning away.

We have another noice cloudy/rainy day today! I just love days like these! And I just so appreciate the cooler weather!

This is me at 28 weeks ... I guess it is no wonder everyone keeps asking me how close to my due date I am, but that belly still has loads of room to expand, I was HUGE with Katie. I still have 2.5 months to go till c-section date, so this belly is going to get BIG!

And I just couldn't resist taking a photo of katie sleeping the other night! This is our daily night routine, she plays till she literally passes out, here she is on top of plenty of books, james the train and you can see Thomas the train peeking out! She is also facing the opposite way than what she sleeps. She plays till around 8 at night before passing out (she gets to go to her bed at 7)

Taking a breather Tuesday

Well today is not my day :( I got a $120 parking fine for the 30 min I parked in front of our swimming school this morning. I thought the fine was totally uncalled for and ridiculous, but I guess that doesn't make any difference, I still got the darn thing. I stopped in front of the neighbours house and there is a very faint and old yellow line there, apparently that means I can't stop there :( So today's swimming cost me what the swimming for katie usually costs for a WHOLE TERM, very expensive swimming lesson that was!! :(

Then we went to the doctors. The doctor got a broad smile on her face while she was listening to an incredibly long and strong heartbeat, she recons we got a strong healthy bub and that is always good to hear, of course just as she said that, the bubby gave her a good strong kick right into where she had her one hand on my tummy, so she the doc had a giggle about that! Everything else is normal, normal blood pressure, normal glucose levels in blood and I'm now seeing her every second week, argh for appointments on appointments.

Just showing you guys what I have been working on, I have been a bit addicted to adding some quotes to my photo prior to printing, it almost looks like a rubon and just adds a bit of something.

And just wanted to share these two which I haven't shared yet. They were done with Stamp and Scrapbook Madness' Feb monthly kit, which is now sold out, but you can buy alot of these goodies individually in their online store here. Also wanted to point out, those two black flowers are VELVET and they are DIVINE!! They are under Stampendous Class a Peels in the store and you can get different designs and also some are in red and white, some scallop velvet borders, some velvet heart designs and my other hot favourite is their vevelt flourishes, YUMMMMM!!


Okay, my girl just declared that I need to go and colour in the fairies button so I'm off to colour for a bit! Have a fun week!!

New Look Blog :)

I was a bit over my mellow blog and wanted something that screams colour and fun, so bought some digi stuff from Rhonna Farrer through 2peas and came up with this :) Ahhhhhh much better! What do you all think??

I'm so glad another week is over! I'm sleeping less and less at night, so am constantly tired and it makes going to work really hard!

I am still playing with my camera where I can, and got these shots of Katie earlier this week :)

Socialite Shares

Me again! Gosh I seem to be blogging non stop atm :)

A few things to share before I go and 'hopefully' pass out for a nap, I'm feeling really 'off' today, not sure what Anabella is doing but gosh I'm just so uncomfy and ouchie.

Where did the weekend go??

Man alive, what happened to the weekend. I think I blinked and suddenly it is Sunday night and I feel like a train has gone over me. I think I slept more this weekend than I normally do in a whole week, or it felt that way anyways.


I was hoping for a gorgeous day out to take photos, but instead we had drizzly rain, so popped out had coffee, bought pizza and some board games for Katie and came back to kick back and relax. Was goooood.


I got such a yummy box of Paper Trunk goodies on Friday, so had a quick play! This one is using the new Maybe Baby range, such a gorgeous elegant range, super cool colour combos and of course all double sided papers. Carrie has also released some new little alpha stickers and I'm just totally inlove with the size of these beauties, perfect!!




And I thought I would do a quick share of two photos I took last weekend. I asked Katie to do a pose for me and I got this haha. Thinking she will prob enjoy doing acrobatics hey ;) See the pretty stripey quilt she is posing on?? I bought that for little baby Anabella, I just love that it is bright and happy, Katie was a pretty soft and pink bub, but I'm feeling like Anabella is going to enjoy more colour and brightness in her life hehe.

I'm off to the hospital tomorrow for an appointment, and then to the doctor on tuesday for an appointment ... me thinks I'm a bit over appointments and just want to stay at home and do much of nothing. 27 weeks preggers today, so not tooooo much longer to go.
