Gosh new week already!?

How does it happen that in a blink of an eye the weekend is over and a new week is ready to start? why is it that as we get older months just seem to fly past without us noticing. Very scarey!

ANYHOWS, weekend was an interesting one. Some Scrapping happened, some lazy couch lying happened, some sleep ins (aaaaah sleep ins). We also thought we had a professional shoot on sunday and while I was busy doing my make up, katie ready, leon ready, Leon looks at the letter and tells me that the shoot was YESTERDAY, so we missed it completely argh! Funny thing is I spend money for the shoot to get a new top and also get a hair straightener, all for nothing DOH! I did end up grabbing some piccies of us though seeing as we were all dressed up.

I did two layouts for Memories and More's cybercrop this weekend, which was just FUN FUN FUN!

And the family photos from today, with a bit of action editing, think I might tweak them a bit more another day :)

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I have a three day work week this week, together with getting two articles written up and ready for Scrapbook Creations, so might be a bit 'scarce'. Have a brilliant week!!

Katie-Lee's Scrapping and Cybercrop at Memories and More!

If you are looking for some scrappy things to do over the weekend, then pop over to Memories and More! There is a cybercrop on the go, but one that will amaze you, there are challenges GALORE, free classes, blind challenges, tonnes of games and loads of chatting sessions to kick back with. The first challenge is up already, and all you have to do is to create a layout using any products/brands that starts with the letter 'b', how fun is that!! I have a sketch challenge that is going up tomorrow night, so look out for that too!!

And seeing as I don't have any scrappy pages to share, I'll share these by my girl Katie-Lee who is 2.5yrs old :)

This one is a flower overload as she has a new addiction to brads, if I premake a hole for her, she can pop them through and flatten their prongs on the back by herself, actually she DOESN'T allow me to help hehe.

This one has some cuttlebug embossing which she did herself, I think she truly believes that machine is all hers doh!

And this gorgeous pink one, has some fun stickers on it and the two flowers and brads and then she promptly announced that she is 'finished scrap' and trotted off to watch telle hehe.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Ahhhh how sweet!

I am doing up an article for SC and was looking for a photo to scrap and decided to go for this one, isn't it just sooooo sweet!! I had the camera on a tripod with the remote and Katie decided to come snuggle up to me, she was so sweet so I grabbed the opportunity to snap some photos of her as she doesn't do this too much doh! So this is what I'm working on at the moment. A very shabby very chic little layout :)

And seeing as I haven't shared this one on my blog yet I thought I would pop it up. It was recently published in the Top10 Fibres in Scrapbook Creations Magazine. Photo of Katie and Leon at a beach on the gold coast.

I am finished working for the week and boy does that feel ultra good! It is such a gorgeous rainy cold day so we are lounging around indoors. I am working on the layout with the photo above and Katie has already done THREE pages! She is ultra quick hehe. She is just loving flowers and brads atm and can keep her ultra busy.

Have a gorgeous rest of the week!

Photo Friday :)

Can you guys tell that I had an 'off' day today :) I got to pull out my camera which was great. I bought a little remote control for my camera off ebay for something like $4, so popped my camera on a tripod and got to snap a few shots of me and Katie. She was so keen on the remote that I even got some of her looking straight at the camera, okay so she has a black thing in her hands in the photo, but the trade off was worth it and we had loads of fun!!

And thought I would share another layout that I did at the retreat :) Something a bit different, but oh so much fun!

Have a gorgeous weekend everybody!! We have a busy one - engagement party tomorrow night and big family lunch on sunday :)

Retreat Share Day One :)

I had an awesome time at the recent Stick and Giggle retreat in Tamborine Mountains! I don't think I have ever been on my bottom for so long at once though, but the food was awesome, the company delightful and the scrapping time to dream for! I had a great first retreat.

So I'll leave you all with some photos from the retreat! Thanks so much to our scrapping photographers, I was very naughty and didn't take any photos at all :) So these photos are brought to you by the talents of some of the girls from the retreat!! Thanks MWAH!!

Here we are at the front entrance to our Retreat Location :)

This was our scrapping room. It was inside their 'chapel' so we were lucky to have carpets and lovely comfy soft chairs, which we were all thanksful for.

This was the owner, miss Jody's lovely gorgeous shop, where I spent alot of moola hehe.

And the poor people who got sucked in to do my class. I think I had 16 or 17 gorgeous gals, needless to say it was really hard to get any instructions in over all the jokes, stories and gossips hehe. But I had loads of fun thanks girls!!

And here is the whole crowd from the retreat.

Here is one of the layouts that I created at the retreat. Photos are of Katie and her Grandparents on a recent outing to Brisbane City. We spend alot of time on the City Cat and she just loved the wind in her hair, so sweet!

We also had a photo swap challenge at the retreat. And here is the layout that the lovely owner of Scraplounge - Rondelle - created for me. I love it cause it is so different to my normal style. I love the happy feel of the layout!! The bright colours are just perfect! Thanks so much Rondelle for this masterpiece!!!!! MWAH!

Katie and me had our first swimming lesson for her today. I was pretty nervous as I didn't know what to expect or how she would go. Of course being a bit of a scaredey cat for water myself didn't help either haha.
But she did really well and we walked out with smiles. Her teacher is very strict but also very friendly and helfpul, so I think that is a good combo. Katie had to go under water twice and she just about cried, but quickly forgot and carried on with the instructions :) I'm so proud of how well she did. She just needs to learn that she can actually move her arms in the water too haha.

Have a good week!!!

Ummmmm .....

Today I can't think of a title haha. Think it is the rainy weather affecting my thinking capacity.

I had a lovely day today, did a bit of this and that. Popped Katie in her old high chair and she scrapped with Mommy. So cute!! She even asks to scrap and every now and then asks to check out my page that I'm working on. So nice to have her at an age where she can play along with my scraps and I can get to fiddle here and there with a layout.

My parents are moving house on Monday, so I'm popping over there to help out as much as I can tomorrow, they have LOTS of stuff, so it is a big job!

I have done two Paper Trunk layouts today and still have a few 'to do's' on my list to get through, so am popping off for more scrappy fun in a bit.

Just leaving you with some info on bits and pieces.

Woohoo Thursday - A day off for me this week :)

Wow, I had the bestest fun training at my new job this week! And I even got to scrap at the shop, isn't that just the most perfect job!!

I did 'feel' the full day of work though, and Katie hasn't been handling it too well, but I'm sure she will get used to it and is just LOVING having me at home today, total performance going on here with her, telling me ALL about this weird kiddie program she seems to watch at my Mum's haha.

I'm back to work on Monday and then Wednesday next week, so am going to enjoy my break :)

On some yucky news. On the way to work a truck spit out a stone onto my windscreen DOH!!! So I have to use one day's pay to get the windscreen fixed and have to hand around at home from 10-1 this morning to wait for them to turn up DOH!

Other scrapping bits and bobs. I did this one for a speed challenge over at Scrapboutique last weekend.
