Retreat Share Day One :)

I had an awesome time at the recent Stick and Giggle retreat in Tamborine Mountains! I don't think I have ever been on my bottom for so long at once though, but the food was awesome, the company delightful and the scrapping time to dream for! I had a great first retreat.

So I'll leave you all with some photos from the retreat! Thanks so much to our scrapping photographers, I was very naughty and didn't take any photos at all :) So these photos are brought to you by the talents of some of the girls from the retreat!! Thanks MWAH!!

Here we are at the front entrance to our Retreat Location :)

This was our scrapping room. It was inside their 'chapel' so we were lucky to have carpets and lovely comfy soft chairs, which we were all thanksful for.

This was the owner, miss Jody's lovely gorgeous shop, where I spent alot of moola hehe.

And the poor people who got sucked in to do my class. I think I had 16 or 17 gorgeous gals, needless to say it was really hard to get any instructions in over all the jokes, stories and gossips hehe. But I had loads of fun thanks girls!!

And here is the whole crowd from the retreat.

Here is one of the layouts that I created at the retreat. Photos are of Katie and her Grandparents on a recent outing to Brisbane City. We spend alot of time on the City Cat and she just loved the wind in her hair, so sweet!

We also had a photo swap challenge at the retreat. And here is the layout that the lovely owner of Scraplounge - Rondelle - created for me. I love it cause it is so different to my normal style. I love the happy feel of the layout!! The bright colours are just perfect! Thanks so much Rondelle for this masterpiece!!!!! MWAH!

Katie and me had our first swimming lesson for her today. I was pretty nervous as I didn't know what to expect or how she would go. Of course being a bit of a scaredey cat for water myself didn't help either haha.
But she did really well and we walked out with smiles. Her teacher is very strict but also very friendly and helfpul, so I think that is a good combo. Katie had to go under water twice and she just about cried, but quickly forgot and carried on with the instructions :) I'm so proud of how well she did. She just needs to learn that she can actually move her arms in the water too haha.

Have a good week!!!

xx

thanks for a great class jolene - even though linda and i threw you a curve ball by wanting to scrap in the smaller 8.5 x 11 size. i love my LO and will post it up on "the lounge" gallery when i add a few more things to it.
was so nice meeting you and despite our chatting and jovial mood in your class i learnt heaps.
i am sure your daughter will soon be swimming laps - being able to swim is such an important thing in australia.
have a great wednesday xxoo
