Super quick shares today cause Lily is giving both of her parents a headache today haha. We have our hands full today that is for sure.

We had a beautiful weekend though, spent some time at the beach yesterday, the wind was a bit chilly but it felt so mega quick to get out! This is my last week of recovery before my 6 week recovery period is up, it will be good to hit the gym again! I have missed my exersize, I'm not an exersize person, but I love the feeling a good exersize session does to my mind and soul. My gym has a good kinder section for the kids and it only costs me $1 an hour per child for the child minding, so had can I resist that haha.

A layout share for Fancy Pants using their YUMMMOOOO Kraft Kuts lines!! I just love love them! This was one our last family photo before our little bundle of joy arrived, so an extra special photo too!!


And one of my new favourite photos of gorgeous miss Katie. She had a sleepover at Grandparents house last night which she always enjoys!!

Lily Anabella one month old already!!

How did that happen?? I just blinked and Lily is already one month old. While this tiny stage is so tiring and testing, I want her to stay tiny just for a wee bit longer :(

So here is some photos of Lily at one month old :)

Some quick facts to record:

Weight: 4.7kg (1.3kg heavier than birth weight)
Length: 50cm (which is the same as birth)
Illnesses so far: Eye infection and Thrush
Feeding in the day: approximately every two hours
Feeding and sleeping at night: last feed somewhere around 10-11, wakeup somewhere around 3-4am and then again around 7-8am.
Eyes: Still a dark pretty grey colour.
Developments: Can lift up head 45deg angle and keep it there for a good few minutes. can easily turn head from side to side. She actually rolled over last night by kicking her feet against me - I was amazed!!
She has a good grasping reflex, and keeps on grabbing onto my hair ouch!

And if you are lucky you might get the most gorgeous smile, although we are only getting one maybe two a day.
Personality: She is sooo different to her sister Katie. She seems to have a very content soft little natured personality. She mostly only raises her voice if I'm too slow to catch on that she is starving, but she usually just gives little cues, so she really just doesn't cry alot at all. She loves and adores to be cuddled and loved and loves staring intently into our eyes. Problem with that is that she needs to sleep close to us in the day, so either in our arms, on our chest, or close by in her bouncer so that she can hear us going about our day.
Her family: I think she has had me twisted around her finger since she starting wiggling in my tummy, I just love this little bundle of joy so much, I hate to pass her onto other people as I just want to hold and cuddle and smell her up, she is such a joy!!
Katie is totally in love with her, so much so that she is such a hand full, and more than often wake Lily up as she just NEEDS to kiss or hug or hold her. She is incredibly helpful and will fetch things for Lily and she always comes along for the nappy changes and bathing sessions. She gets VERY worried when Lily cries and always tries to soothe her as best she can - by rocking her bassinett or patting her head telling her 'it is okay Lily'. When Lily sneezes Katie says 'Bless you Sweetheart'. I think these two are going to be the bestest of friends!!
Lily's Daddy: I think that his daughter has stolen his heart already. When he gets home he always offers to take her and put her to sleep on his chest while he watches movies on his computer. He evens says 'no' to dinner when he has you and waits till you have a feed before he eats.
Names: I seem to be calling Lily names such as Sweetheart, Lily-belle. Katie loves calling her Sweetheart or Lily Anabella and her Daddy calls her Pikinini
Things we love: My favourite things about you is the way you love to tighten your body and stretch each limb one by one when you wake up. I just adore those big bright eyes and your adorable skinny long fingers and feet!
Lily's Daddy seems to love the colour of her eyes, her big bright eyes and the way she does a 'matrix move' by tightening her body and crossing her legs when she has had a good fill of feed and we pick her up for a burp.







Hope the next months don't pass as quickly as this one did!!

It is almost weekend woohoooooo!!

Another Layout wooohoooo ! :)

Well I'm so proud of myself, if I can keep up the scrapping then maybe I can possibly keep up with Lily's photos hehe.

My challenge is scrapping those very first gory yucky photos and the operating theatre ones, not too sure how to tackle those doh! But I do so want to record those moments too for Lily!

Little Lily has an eye infection so I have to pop drops in her eyes and oh my gosh it is unbelievably tricky to do!! My Mum thinks she has thrush too, so i'm thinking another trip to the doctors is in order for her.

She is refusing to accept a dummy, she thinks it is the most horrible thing and scrunches up her face in disgust and pushes it out for her tong. Katie was SO BIG on her dummies so this is a different twist for us, she also doesn't suck a finger, so when she is over tired, she decides she is starving and of course using Mummy's breast as a 'dummy' to fall asleep on argh!

But she is sleeping well at night none the less, so I really can't complain :)

A Katie day today :)

I have been sharing so many photos of Lily, so thought that a day for Katie photos is only fair :) She ADORES her sister, but not suprisingly she isn't always coping to well when she wants attention and Lily is just refusing to sleep, so we are getting our fair share of pity parties for herself and some 'fake' crying. But MOSTLY she is just being an adoring helping older sister who loves to cuddle and kiss her little 'so cute' baby sister, so I have tonnes to be thankful for!!

Speaking of thankful, I LOVE weekends!! I just had a mega long warm bath, reading my book while soaking away while hubby put Lily to sleep, I feel so much more like a 'normal' human being after that haha.

I also wanted to say thanks to everyone who loves me such mega sweet and precious comments, I do LOVE reading them all, I'm sorry I'm not getting around to popping around to say hello to everyone who takes the time to comment, but just wanted to say that I appreciate and love reading every single one of them!!! THANKS!!

And some photos of Katie!! I have the ultimate weapon in order to get Katie to pose for photos. As soon as I set Lily up for photos and start snapping away, Katie runs in front of the camera and says 'AND ME!??' How can I resist honestly :) SOOOOO much easier working on the jealousy angle than it is trying to bribe her to stand still and then actually smile as well haha.

I'm very lucky that I get to fiddle with scrapbook layouts over weekends when hubby helps out with Lily and me and Katie can scrap together :) So I have finished a layout using some yummy K & Co goodies :)


And some more photos that I took today of Lily at 3.5 weeks. Can't believe she will be 1 month old in 5 days, how the heck did that happen??








I am soooooooo tired tonight, had such a hard emotional day today. Leon arrived home an hour early and OMG I just about cried from relief as I passed Lily on to him. She hasn't been too bad, she just isn't sleeping except if it is in my arms and I just can't sit still and do nothing for that long, but each time I pop her down she opens her eyes and moans grrrrrr. Silly bubba.

I think I need CHOCOLATE and COFFEE :) that might help.

Sorry I'm sweet and short again today, I know all the mums out there will understand ;)

The most adorable little feet!

Little Lily has the most adorable little feet and I can't help myself when I get the camera out, I think I have an oversupply of these cuties!! They are long and skinny and check out her funky toes!! Soooo cute!!

Just sharing a few photos of bubba Lily. She is growing up to incredibly fast and is already developing some chubby cheeks hehe. These photos were taken about a week ago, so I really need to take some of her ever thinning hair and growing little body :)







Hubby is back at work, so it is just us girls at home atm. I'm not getting ANYTHING done today so far, Lily is just not going to sleep. One of those days, and this house needs a good clean - where oh where are those house fairies hey ;) hehe.

Belated Happy Mothersday!!

I do hope all the Mummy's out there had a gorgeous Mothersday! We had a very slow day which is always nice with a little 2 week old baby, but headed out with my parents and brother to have some Fish and Chips for lunch next to the water and it was sooooo noice!!

Just a quick share today, a layout that I got around to sticking down last week, it has been sitting on my desk for a good 3 weeks, so it felt good to glue it all down :) Just another preggie layout :)

Photo Overload

Man alive!! I keep trying to get those adorable newborn baby photos, but my little Lily-belle has already decided that photos is just not her thing. She keeps waking up and squirming doh!!

I did get a few today that I was so happy about though, wide awake here.
