Another Layout wooohoooo ! :)

Well I'm so proud of myself, if I can keep up the scrapping then maybe I can possibly keep up with Lily's photos hehe.

My challenge is scrapping those very first gory yucky photos and the operating theatre ones, not too sure how to tackle those doh! But I do so want to record those moments too for Lily!

Little Lily has an eye infection so I have to pop drops in her eyes and oh my gosh it is unbelievably tricky to do!! My Mum thinks she has thrush too, so i'm thinking another trip to the doctors is in order for her.

She is refusing to accept a dummy, she thinks it is the most horrible thing and scrunches up her face in disgust and pushes it out for her tong. Katie was SO BIG on her dummies so this is a different twist for us, she also doesn't suck a finger, so when she is over tired, she decides she is starving and of course using Mummy's breast as a 'dummy' to fall asleep on argh!

But she is sleeping well at night none the less, so I really can't complain :)

Hope you all have a good week!!

What a beautiful LO! I hope things go better as soon as possible...
My older daughter didn´t like dummy also, but her Grandma got it! And she used until she was 4 years-old.

Jolene, that is one beautiful LO!!!!

My first two children both had dummies, but from different brands. Sometimes the shape differs ... my son had a "bibi" pacifier, which is rather curvy. Off course we bought the same brand for Chloƫ, but she refused them. I then tried a "dodi", which is kind of flat, and she loved that one ... So keep trying! Then again, my third child, Christina, refused every single pacifier we got, and prefered her thumb ... she still sucks her thumb now, and she's already 7, whereas my first two stopped using their dummy when they were 3 and 2 ... so much better for their teeth! Anyway, it must be difficult (read: tiring) when she doesn't have anything else but your breast to sooth her. I hope you'll find something soon!
xxx Peggy

Gorgeous layout!

Try breast milk in her eyes!!! Best cure ever for eye issues. A midwife at the hospital told me about this & while I felt it was rather odd, it worked in no time at all.

Good luck with the dummy!! My 2 love/d theirs, they had the orthodontic shape rather than the cherry one.

Stunning LO! I had two babies who used me as a dummy...SO exhausting! I'll second the suggestion for using breastmilk in the eye:)Works a charm!

That is a gorgeous layout Jolene!
A midwife told me about the breast milk in the eye, too - and it worked a treat for Connor! That Mummy's milk is magic!!! LOL I hope little Lily gets better soon - Connor had trush (in his mouth) a couple of times - and I think I got some special creams from the chemist???
Connor also refused a dummy, and would only use Mummy to go to sleep - it is sooooo tiring..... His theory was, if it didn't have milk coming out of it, it wasn't worth having in his mouth! LOL!
