Oh Yay and non-Yay!

Well first of all ... my VERY first LO published is in FK this month. Of course I don't like that LO, but won't complain seeing as it is in print!!! Here we go, this was it in the travel section.

Looks a bit dark on here, but anyhow, go check it out! I was on the page just opposite Mardi's gorgeous travel LO!!

Second thing! Well I got my LO back about the 'scrap your space' competition with a nice little note which comes down to not good enough! umph! O well!

Further than that, life is running away with me at the moment! I'm yet to do the MB LO, just have not felt like scrapping lately, which is just weird weird weird!

Katie is turning ONE years old this friday, so I'm running around like a chook without a head trying to think of everthing that needs to be done! Can't wait! Can't believe how old she is already!

Alright my two wedding:

Well it so happens, that I met my husband over in South Africa which is where we got engaged. But of course I was sorta living in Australia already at that time and we had to get him into the country. We looked at different visas but everyone advised us that a 'fiance visa' seeing as we were engaged would be best and easiest and cheapest.

Conditions of that visa is to get married legally in Australia. Considering that all our family and friends are over in South Africa, that was a very hard pill to swallow and so we went ahead and arranged a 'blessing' wedding in South Africa for family and friends and an 'elope' wedding in Australia on a beach in Cairns for the legal ceremony in Aussie.

We ended up running out of money to pay for both weddings and we ended up having to can the wedding in South Africa .... booohoooo!!!! very sad! Instead my parents (who are in australia) payed for a proper wedding in a chapel in Australia, with loads of people we don't/didn't know, this wedding became the legal one.

We had already payed lots of money on the 'elope' wedding which the company didn't wanna refund, so we just went ahead and had that wedding on the beach anyways! lol. So on our honeymoon we got all dressed up, went barefoot and had a gorgeous wedding in a very WINDY beach!

Definetly not as romantic as a 'beach' wedding is made out to be.
