And so the weekend ends and a new week begins

Well ladies, I'm sitting here watching idol in the background and wanted to share my AWESOME weekend.

We have been celebrating my upcoming birthday a little early.

We started by passing over little Katie to my Mum's for Saturday and Saturday night! We then went bowling ... I can't remember when last we did something like this! I wasn't that bad either lol. We played a bit of pool and some games in the games arcade (lol the kids must have felt really sorry for us oldies, but it was FUN!) We had an ice cream while wondering around the shops. Went home, grabbed some pizza for lunch, watched a bit of a movie and then popped out to grab some yummy Coffee and Cake ... it was soooo relaxing. We then went and watched TWO movies at the cinemas LOL. Think we caught up for all the staying at home.

We then had a late sleep in till 10am ... ahhhhh was divine!!

So I'm ready for this week ... bring it on I say lol.

I thought now that the embellished idol is over, I can share some of the LO's with you, seeing as not much other scrapping happened here this weekend lol.

So here was the first one, it had to be vintage and so happens to be my FIRST and probably last vintage LO lol.

This is my year 12 formal photo. I'm the one on the way right :) I used a bit of Antiquing solution on the photo to tint it up a bit! So this is very different for me. Oh and Sunee if you are reading this ... "Hello", she pops in every so often, she is the 3rd one from the left .... the only one from the group that I still try and stay in touch with.

Here is another LO for you ... seeing as I'm being nice lol. Created this one using some of those new yummy Doodeling templates, they came into my shop and right back out in a matter of few days, but they are just gorgeous too work with.

Okay ladies, hope your week is bright and cheerful!!

Hugs
Jolene

Glad you had a nice time, you and hubbie. It is really important to make time for yourselves when the kids come along....try telling my hubbie that. He thinks being home for the night but on his computer is spending time with me...Hmph...LOL

Hope you have a great birthday.
