DSD Challenge #1

Did you know yesterday was Digital Scrapbooking Day? Anyways I'm having some fun with some of their challenges and this is challenge one.

What an awesome idea too, comes from Katie the Scrapbooklady who helps people record and plan out their months so it is easy to scrap them :)

Roundup Questions

  1. What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
  • I have enjoyed my normal scrapbooking magazines, For Keeps and Scrapbook Creations. Sadly I did no extra reading this month :(
  1. What movies and/or tv shows did I watch this month?
  • I have watched 'Stardust' and 'The Kingdom' both great movies! Not a big tv buff but do enjoy watching 'Scrubs' and 'Show me you can dance' on the tv.
  1. What special days did I celebrate and how?
  • No celebrations happening here in October. Had some family birthdays over in South Africa though :)
  1. What gifts did I give and/or receive?
  • Gave some scrapbooking goodies to a friend and a little outfit to a friends' daughter - friend of Katie :)
  1. What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
  • Ooooo, nothing more than some really bad headaches and running out of enery :) Been a good month health wise in our house :)
  1. What fun things did I do with my friends and/or family?
  • I had a two night getaway with my hubby. Went to the Sunshine coast and just had a wonderful time being totally lazy as Katie stayed with my parents for the two nights :)
  • Had a gorgeous lunch today at my brothers
  • And had two lovely play sessions for our kids with friends from CIS
  1. What new foods, recipes or restaurants did I try this month?
  • I am trying weigh watchers at the moment, so have been playing around with new meals, most of which were pretty yum yum.
  1. What special or unusual purchases did I make?
  • Birthday Presents, nothing unusual although I'm browsing around for a new vacuum cleaner.
  1. What were this month's disappointments?
  • Not anything that I can remember so obviously nothing noteworthy and devastating, which must be a good thing :)
  1. What were my accomplishments this month?
  • Got some projects accepted for SC as well as a commissioned LO, so that is fab!!! Won some scrapping related competitions which is always exciting!
  • I have spent 14 hours exersizing this month which is really impressive for someone like me who doesn't 'do' exersizes :)
  1. Anything else noteworthy to record?
  • Katie is really coming along nicely with her language skills, she is doing a lot of copying and practising and can put together two words easily. She is also noticing other little girls and have even 'held hands' with some of the girls which is just adorable and very sweet!
