What a gorgeous public holiday we had today!

We really enjoyed the long weekend!!! It has been like a mini holiday and recharged us for more work.

We eased the weekend in with a slow but happy Saterday spent scrapping and watching movies. We are lucky as we got Katie to sleep over at my parents house, so got some peaceful sleep too! We saw Sweeney Todd, not something I recommend at all unless you are a bit weird and twisted. I went for the sake of Leon as he wanted to see it, but found the movie totally painful to sit through!

On Sunday, I had an early movie date with some of my scrappy girl friends, we went and saw '27 Dresses' which by no means is the best movie of the year but it was totally enjoyable and totally predictably adorable!! We had some cake and yummy cheesecake afterwards. Then I dashed off to a delightful BBQ lunch at my parents house.

Today we went down to Burleigh on the Gold Coast and spent a few very hot but lovely house at the sea! The sea was a bit rough for Katie but she enjoyed playing in the sand and picking up some broken shells. She spent a few hours this afternoon at her Grandma and Oupa so I got to have a nanna nap which was well needed after the sun got to me a bit!!

And so the day draws to an end and another day of work is looming close, lucky it is a 4 day week so totally manageable!

It is MONDAY today, which of course means it is Pencil Lines day!! We had a very fun double sketch to have a play with this week. And even though I had some trouble and headache creating this one, I really enjoyed playing with the new BG Two Scoops!! Go and check it out, some amazing DT LO's too!!!

And then I did a layout for a Survivor challenge over at Chookscraps! It is challenge one, we just got started, how exciting!!! This is my take, I really enjoyed scrapping myself!!!

Have a gorgeous week gals!! Chat to you all again next time ;)
xoxo
