An Easter Egg Hunting We shall go :)

We are having such an awesome time this Easter long weekend!! Am just loving up all the family time.

This afternoon we had our Easter Egg hunt, while Easter has religious meaning for us and we never really used to do the chocolate thing, Katie is still too young to understand the meaning of Easter, so I decided to give her some fun in hunting :)

So when hubby got up this morning at 12:30pm!!!! (it was his turn to sleep late and obviously made use of that gosh!) We packed our goodies and headed over to Oupa and Grandma's house as they actually have a garden in which to hide eggs haha.

So this is my little girl posing at our front door, ready with her basket of chockies.

She was feeling very protective of her eggs in the car, making sure they don't fall over lol. It was her father driving so she might have good cause to hold on so tight ;) hehe.

When we got to Oupa and Grandma's house we hid the eggs and she was just totally amused and excited by the fact that they had chocolate eggs in their garden!!! Everything was 'OH WOW, LOOK!!' - Just WAY too cute!!

The hunt didn't last very long as there was lots of running and grabbing and running to the next one, but she loved opening up this easter bunny that she called 'JoJo'

She was VERY reluctant to bite into poor JoJo, I think she liked him too much haha.

Being lucky to grab a photo of the girls, Katie was actually sitting stil for while, eating her bunny.

And she even shared with Mommy :)Not long after this shot and the whole hunt started again, she wasn't interested in the chockies, she wanted to do the search instead, so we hid them AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and got sick of it, so she started hiding them away from herself and then promptly finding them with much enthusiasm and amazement. She was so cute!!! Just loved it!

Hope your Easter's went well as well!!
'see' you all tomorrow ;)
