We have a few exciting things to look forward to in this household, of course the birth of our second little gorgeous girl around the middle of April, sooooo can't wait to meet this gorgeous full of energy girl. She keeps me constantly entertained with kicks and punches, totally love every movement in there!! So here I am, trying to embrace a much bigger me at 23 weeks! 3.5 months to go!

Secondly we will be anxiously awaiting a visit from Leon's Daddy and Step-Mum, who are hoping to come over for a visit from South Africa to meet the new bub and get requainted with Katie. So hopefully August/September will bring us some mega special visitors :)
Further than that I just scored myself a little freelance job as a Part-Time Freelance Curriculum Consultant for skwirk.com.au. It has been fun getting back to something teaching related and the absolute beauty is that I get to work from the comfort of my home couch, woohooo!
On the scrappy front I wanted to say a HUGE thanks to Krissy for giving me a 'Your Blog is Fabulous' award. Thanks sooooo much Krissy. I took care of the same award in a few posts back, so won't repeat, but totally loving the scrappy blog love!!
.
And then I got another 'Kreativ Blogger' award, this time from the gorgeous Christina. Check back a few posts to find my shares on that award, thanks Christina for passing on some blogger love my way!!!
And the last award is from Corien.

thanks sooooo much Corien!! Man I'm totally inlove with the concept of blog awards and the way they can spread so inbelievably quickly to all blogs right over the world!! Sooooo awesome!!
On another exciting scrappy front, congratulations to everyone who made it on the Pink Paislee team! I was soooooo ultra lucky to make it to the Guest Design Team list for 2009, and will now be anxiously counting down the days till it is my turn to play with the awesome company!! Still can't believe they got over 400 applications!!! Oh my word! It was great though, to see some familiar names of gals that I have either worked with in the past or are working with on other teams, WTG ladies!!!
I was browsing two peas last night and came across this gorgeous action from JennH called Cherry Vanilla. I had a play today and thought it was pretty funky so thought I would pass on the link to those who love actions :) You can find the post here, but you have to go to the last page to find the updated links as the links in post one doesn't work anymore.
This was my photo I played with.

This is the Cherry Vanilla Cream Action. This is the action as is, I would prop brighten it up just a tad after, but wanted to leave it as is to show you the effects ;)

And this is the Cherry Vanilla Action - very noice!!

And lastly, SCRAPBOOK CREATIONS - OPPORTUNITY TO GET PUBLISHED!!
With the silly season I thought it might be worthwhile pointing out that Scrapbook Creations is running a blind challenge feature this month. I wrote a quick article and did up a blind challenge that you can have a go at, if you email your Scrapbook Creations by january 7, you could stand a chance at getting that layout published as they are dedicating a section to example layouts from that challenge!!
I would LOVE to see people getting involved, and what better time of the year to sit back and scrap by following steps than now
All you need to do is buy Scrapbook Creations #61 which is currently out, page to pg 72 and read your way through the article, example challenge and then scrap your own layout and follow their instructions!
Good luck to anyone that enters, let me know if you have a go
Have a gorgeous week, I'm back to the scrapbook store work on wednesday, so a few more days at home for me phew!
