I did do two layouts over the weekend. This one annoys me and I feel like I need to fix up that bottom circle bit that doesn't match the top. Photo of katie from December on our little holiday. Man she loves being busy and playing and swimming and running and playing.

And while I'm waiting for my CHA Fancy Pants goodies to arrive, I had a play with some of their previous lines and did up a 'goals' layout for 2009.

And just cause I'm a good girl, this was my homework for my photography course I'm doing through two peas :)
We are playing with shutter speeds to see the different effects, which is totally cool.
I had to use a tripod for this one as the shutter speed was soooooo slow that I couldn't handheld it, but doesn't it look prettttty! this is what people do with nature shots that include rivers or waterfalls to make them look all enchanting like.

This one was taken with a 'medium' fast shutter, so it is halway between sharp and blurry.

And then this last one was a quick shutter, so we can haver it all nice and 'frozen in action'.

I have to do a part two of the chapter for homework, so will hopefully get to that this weekend!!
Speaking of weekends! We have an exciting one lined up. We are off to see Thomas the Tank Train Engine at a day out with Thomas, Sooooooo can't wait to see Katie's excitement!!
And then hopefully on monday we can get to the beach for a halfday outing, I just feel like I NEED to see the beach again!
Hope you all have a gorgeous weekend with whatever you might be doing.
I'm off to work again tomorrow and have a busy friday lined up, so it will be weekend before I get to blink!
Am off to bed now, the third trimester 'tiredness' have hit me already!

Hi Jolene,
I love your layouts, they are gorgeous. Photos are simply awesome! It's inspiring me to "play" a bit more with my camera - might go to the beach and catch some waves crashing on rocks!
Thomas is awesome - if you are going to the Nth Ippy Workshop Mueseum for it, it's fantastic! Connor loved it! Ippy is my home town, and Mark's Dad actually did his apprenticship there, and helped build a "blue flier" (ie - a blue tank engine!) Connor was most impressed! Lots of good scrapping opportunities! LOL!
I love the LO's, but I'm blown away with your photo's. I can't wait to spend some time going through your tutorial!!! I haven't checked yet, but I have but a simple digital camera, I don't think I have all the needed features ... ah well, if there not on there, I'll have something new to put on my wish list LOL.
xxx Peggy

Hey you're taking a camera shooting class? Is it online or an actual class you're going to? I just got a brand new Nikon 40d for Christmas and still trying to learn all about aperture and shutter speed. I would love to join you if it's something online. Could you send me an email with the info? Thanks Jolene.
Your layouts are beautiful Jolene, congrats on your new little project in progress (baby). I am about to start a Photography course at TAFE, soooo excited. Was reading your stuff about shutter speed, can't wait to get out there with the camera today, just bought a Canon 50D, know it's above me, but expect to learn heaps over next 5 months. Would love to hear what course your doing and what you are up to? Am new to all this technology.
