Katie is turning 4 in just under one months' time, and as always her Oupa could just not wait to give her some of her birthday presents ... I don't think he has managed to keep THE birthday present till birthday time once, he always ends up giving it to her early and then has to buy something else for her birthday haha. He just loves her excitement when she gets presents and squeels like a total girl with utter delight!
He gave her a pair of Dora Sunnies, Dora Crocs and a Dora Umbrella. And I think these items just about slept in her bed and was the first thing on in the morning already!!! So cute!! Do you love the bows I bought for her hair???? So adorable :)

We had a fun challenge over at Addicted to Craft where we had to do a layout using pink/red/green as our colour combo, head over and check out the ultra different interpretations all using the same supplies - Scrap Within Reach-Emmerson range.
WIN WIN WIN!!! If you use these papers and take up the challenge of a red/green/pink page and enter at their gallery you will stand a chance of winning, so why not join us in the fun????

I'm off to Jenny Craig tomorrow to listen to them try and convince me to join up! Cooking for just me without hubby around seems to lead to NO cooking and loads of unhealthy eating doh! So looking for an easy option :) Let me know if you have had a success story with Jenny Craig!!! ;)
Chat again soon!

Your lo is a real beauty. I love the colours you used.
Hi Jolene
Love your photos... And your pink and green layout. (I love pink and green!!)
About Jenny Craig. In 2006 i lost 35 kilos on Jenny . I have managed to keep 15 kilos of it off but its such a struggle. SO disappointing to regain it!!!
Its a great program, but all processed food and very little education on food. The only way to keep the weight off is to stay on it!!! I knew that when i lost it all, but thought "Its so dear, i might try myself" and then next thing the weight (or 20 kilos of it) is back on!! So frustrating!!! Im on it again now, but you don't have as much success the second time round... or should i say the 4th time. This is the second time I've regained and the forth attempt to loose it again on Jenny Craig. But i have a horrible body as i was put on my first diet before i was 10!! A grape fruit diet and just a life time of dieting has destroyed my metabolism...
You lost a heap of weight before you fell pregnant didn't you? How did you loose that? I wish you every success with your weight loss. Don't make your weight a focus though Jolene, your a better person than a few extra kilos. Your such a beautiful person with a gorgeous heart!! I wish you all the best!!
They are so cute!!!! And these little girls are just "keart-breakers" (is it OK in English??) and your blog, your LO are so... Waouh!!!!!!
Not "keart-breaker" but my fingers are not so efficient... like me...
HAHAHA!! My daughter loves Dora too! Your little girls is a princess!!
kisses
I'm a real lurker of your blog but thought I'd say how I've been thinking of you and your girls during recent events!
I'm not sure about Jenni Craig but I put on 20 kg with my second pegnancy, dropped 10kg initially and then went to weight watchers to help move the last 10kg! LOVED weight watchers as they educate you on food choices and the recipes are delish! I love the cooking for my whole family including my girls! I cannot recommend it enough!!! Good luck with whatever you choose!
Your photos are gorgeous as always!

love the layouts and Katie looks so cute with the glasses.TAke care Kerry xx
I did Jenny after my 1st son only did it for about 8-10 weeks lost about 8 kilo and it was in the silly season, not cheap but it does work and it is a great kick start.
Hi Jolene, you sound a little happier this week, that's great. All that pink & brightness is bound to cheer you up. I hope Katie has a beautiful actual birthday day, pack it with as mauch happiness as you can.
I did the Jenny Craig program 10 yeras ago, lost 20 kgs....as long as you can maintain the weightloss with your own healthy cooking after that, it's a great kick start...and the support of the consultant might offer you more than just weight loss support, something you need right now...a boost to your self-esteem & self-worth & a friendly ear. By the time you have reached a weight you're happy with, you might be in a better happy mind-place to start cooking for you & Katie-Lee again...and your little Lily will be up to veges etc by then too. Having said that, though, you look gorgeous anyway.
You have many blessings, amid the setback, just keep looking forward...xoxoxoxo
Oh your girlie is just BEAUTIFUL!!! Good luck with jenny Craig...haven't done it myself, but lots of people I know have liked the program;)
love all the pink! pink! pink!
Stunning pics! Your girls are just so beautiful! Sorry no idea about Jenny craig, but another way for eating healthier may be to make up savory dishes that can be frozen in individual size portions. I do this for Paul as he works nights and was spending as much on take out each week as I did on our grocery bill! It works really well and if you have several different options made up it is super easy to pull something out of the freezer in the morning for tea that night and not feel like you are eating the same thing all the time. Just a thought.
