Sketchy Sketchy Monday

So today had me browsing any and all cheap shops for those Chinese Lanterns!! Thanks so much for all the suggestions and links, you are all AMAZING!!!

No luck YET, I did find some pretty pink ones but they had no batteries or lights or tea light holders inside, they were cheap though at $2.50 each, so at least something to keep in mind. I really want them to light up prettily though as the party will be at sunset time. Will go browse Chinese shops as some of you suggested too, before grabbing some online! :) It is so much fun isn't it!!! hehe

In scrappy news, Addicted to Craft is just HOPPING, just HOPPING with inspiration. If that blog isn't on your regular reading list, you honestly should add it, there is almost daily updates on there with gorgeous creations and ideas for using your goodies!! Over the weekend they popped up a sketch as inspiration and all the DT had to create a layout using the same goodies - I can't believe in how many different ways one line of papers can be used!! honestly it looks awesome!!

POP OVER HERE NOW!! Yes that is an ORDER hehe

Here is a little close up of my embies!! I'm so into lollipops, aren't they just the coolest??? We used the 'signs of spring' prima papers, well seeing as it is spring you know ;)

Here is my full layout. I used up some Prima alpha stickers, all those wonky letters you never use, like 'x', 'z' etc and created an interesting photo matt ;) All these products are found in the Addicted to Craft store ;)

And just cause I did something BIG!!! Zoom in on my ear, yep closer closer, seee??? I thought I might get my first ear piercings EVER before I'm 30 :) hehe, I made the booking and the lady looked at Katie, and I'm going no they are for me!! lol It really HURT though ouch!
And before I go - some of you asked about the round corners!!! It is a really awesome nifty action that you can download at twopeas by Emily Weaver Brown. So all you do is make sure your photo is the right size, hit the mouse button and it all happens as if by magic!!! Thanks Emily!!!

Have a good week everyone!

Those earrings look so good on you. And it's a very cute pic of you together with your girls.

Hi Jolene...hoping I have an idea to help with your lanterns...to add the lights, I was thinking that the waterfall/icicle type of fairy lights might fit inside to illuminate the lanterns...even if each cluster of lights are too close together I guess slipping every 2nd set into a lantern might work...I hope I've given you an idea and not left you thinking.... ??? crazy woman..lol..love your work...

When my daughter got her ears pierced, she looked at the lady in the jewelshop who was going to make them and said: have you tried this before? *LOL* yes nice to know before she pierces :)
