This moody pants girl below is just not sleeping well at all!! She has never been a good sleeper, but ever since everything happened it has just gotten worse, she had me up at least 6 times the other night and lily has me up about twice or more depending on if she gets woken up by this girl. So I am left with a tired girl during the day which = tantrums argh!! Any tips are most welcome!! i have tried a nightlight, music, lavendar spray. We have a good night routine which includes a story, practising our bible memory verse for church, praying and hugs and kisses. She goes to sleep NO PROBs at all, just wakes up alot during the night.
This little gorgeous girl below, has at LONG LAST learnt how to roll!! Far out it has taken her forever lol. Katie was rolling by 3 months, Lily is 5.5 months! But now that she has got it, there is absolutely NO stopping her, she is getting to where she was, so cute! So much easier, as she isn't crying as quickly when she is on her tummy any more!
and ME? Well aside from being beyond exhuasted from lack of sleep, not much else has been happening! But I do have a layout to share that I did a while ago. This one is featuring Paper Trunk Goodness! The Kraft papers and goodies is from their new scrummy collection kits!
I am starting to get things a bit organised for my 30th that is coming up WAY quicker than I would like argh!! I bought myself a nifty little chocolate fountain from Sam's Warehouse for $19.95 - BARGAIN! I have a friend who is going to see if she can get some Chinese Lanterns for me - Thanks Kerry!!! I have another friend who said I can borrow some Cocktail things from - thanks Leah!! Am looking to borrow some fairy lights though if anyone closeby has any I could use at the end of November??
And of course need to get a pretty dress too :)
Otherwise, I'm starting to get some goodies into my new Sugar.Sweet.Creations etsy store. Just some bits and pieces, if anyone is interested in these but want to pay in AUS let me know and we can arrange payment by paypal/direct deposit.

And if you love calendars, I have got a few photo desktop calendars printed with some floral photos I took. I have popped some quotes on, the quotes aren't as clear as I would like, but still readeable, I was so proud of my photos, they even have some textured layers on, soooooooo pretty!!! i have one large hanging one on its way too, sooooo exciting!! ugh my almost 4 year old is exactly the same way!
My oldest boy slept his first full night when he was 3. I was broken. My girl sleeps better, but there are weeks that she also is sleeping very bad.
I don't talk to here at night, a kiss, a hug, al little bit water and that's it. When I start talking, she is realy a wake.

sorry, i got no tips for katie's sleeping, cos connor is the same age and exactly the same......... my 1st 5 were all sleeping through from 6 wks, but connor, well at 4 you can count on one hand the amount of nights he's slept through, love that pic of lily, love the LO of katie, gorgeous pic of her in it.............. will check out your store, i would pay by direct deposit if thats ok
I hope Katie's sleeps settle soon, sorry no tips, not there yet.

Sorry to hear about K not sleeping well. I haven't got any solutions, but I did find the "Baby Whisperer" books (baby & toddler - by Tracey Hogg) good for advice on those types of things. I used the E.A.S.Y. sleep method with Erin and she was the perfect sleeper by 6 weeks. Aiden on the other hand, didn't sleep through the night til he was around 2.5yrs. I wish I had read the books back then!
I hope you can find the thing that works for K!
Hi Jolene, yes, I nearly freaked out too when I couldn't get into your blog earlier:) Your not alone with the girls my 2 boys are up constantly and some nights I feel like I am sleeping with my eyes open. With Cooper we just let him snuggle into bed with us when he gets up through the night, I will sometimes put him back to his own bed but when we all just want to sleep I don't care that he's in my bed! Has Katie got something to cuddle when she goes to bed? Hopefully things settle down for you soon and Yay for Lily, sounds familiar, Coop did it at 3 months and Kobi took until at least 5 months too!

Hope that dear Lil Katie starts sleeping a lot better again really soon for you! I used to do the bedtime routine, 18 yrs ago so I don't know if this would still work. dinner/tea, bath, story and left the hall light on (what about some of those calming cd's with water running or birds chirping)Hope this helps.
And look at lil Lily...Awww she is so gorgeous!!! Such Beautiful brown eyes!

try beautiful songs of praise,lovely stories on cd ,or just you perhaps speaking,reassuring her,play it whilst she is asleep ,very low,is said to get into their subconscious,my son was having bAD DREAMS,IT WORKED FOR HIM.I used bible stories from christian book shop

Jolene, sweet, does Katie-lee need a little grief counselling? With the sudden absence of a particular person, she may be having nightmares, and she may think telling you why might upset you more.....this type of counselling/therapy is very beneficial to little ones who can't make sense of their anxieties because they are so young...the therapist will use lots of "play" techniques with Katie-Lee, drawing, role play, music etc....it may help to have a cry together too, so she knows she is not alone in her sadness...
